How to write daily emails

Missed this week's previous issues?

When I started writing emails and newsletters in 2018, I learned about the typical way most email marketers follow.

Even today, more than 6 years later, the most used format for entrepreneurs and businesses is the once a week or every other week long-form newsletter.

Deep dives into topics people want to learn more about, or short stories about the author's experiences, it's the format of choice.

Offers get placed strategically.

You can do that, but you know what?

This strategy will take you a long time to build the trust you need with your fans and make them superfans.

My definition of a superfan = they will buy everything you offer them. That's it.

The idea of writing daily emails came to me after I experienced it myself, how great newsletter content creators kept me hooked for a long time—popping up in my feed every day.

Writers like Josh Spector use a single paragraph in their daily emails, pointing his readers to his own or other resources.

Chris Orzechowski shares a story with a lesson every day. Plugging his offers in each one of them. 10,000 readers enjoy them.

My point is, there is no one-size-fits-all way to write daily emails.

You will have to experiment a lot.

And find the strategy and format that suits you best.

Your goal is to sit down daily and enjoy the writing process.

Building this habit not only for social media, but also for emails, is the smartest investment you can make.

It will take some time to find the right people for your list.

But if you're like me, you don't want to build your list for years without knowing who of your subscribers will eventually buy from you, right?

So, how do you start writing daily emails?

My recommendation is to start with story-driven content.

People will identify with your stories, and stick with you.

Or they won't like it because of differences, and leave.

Both are fine.

Focus on telling a short story every day, followed by a lesson in your area of expertise (if possible).

Doing this early on as a digital creator will pay you back big time.

Tomorrow, I'll provide you with some prompts for daily emails, so you get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Have a wonderful day!
