Embrace being yourself

Embrace being yourself

No job or salary is worth enduring hours of traffic or crowded public transport daily.

I understand why people do it—I did it myself.

But what I don't understand is why they continue.

At some point, I realized it is sad to waste so much valuable time.

So, I changed something in my life.

I started my own business, so I could work whenever I wanted, not when my boss or some weird schedule wanted me to.

Progress.

Think about life for a second.

It hit me hard when I realized something else: life is the sum of your days.

Days are the sum of the actions you take.

Some ideal lifestyle you dream about exists in your mind, but reality really boils down to your days—and what you do with them.

Even if you hit entrepreneurial success through hard work, you will always have to deal with your days and actions you take.

This can be scary, I get it.

You are responsible for your days, therefore for your life.

But it is also liberating when you think about it.

Life coaching and productivity advice is quick to give you tips for optimizing daily actions, finding time slots for working on your projects, and much more.

But if you don't understand the whole game, it won't last long.

No advice from out there will save you.

Start in your inner world, ask the right questions, write a lot, read even more.

No life coach will save you from the 3-hour commute to a hateful job, only you can do it.

As soon as this hit me over the last few years, I was hooked.

There is no failure anymore.

Only feedback on your journey to your ideal daily action setup.

I'm not mad or disappointed that my first business adventure didn't get me to millions of yearly revenue.

People who do this at first try, lie to your face, or are living an anomaly.

Who cares what they did or accomplish?

Learn from them, but save yourself from comparing to them.

I have one small action for you today: embrace being yourself.

Smile at the content that comes from the big hitters, and move on back to yourself.

It works wonders, I promise.

See you tomorrow.
